I’m using a couple of sources for this update:

Source 1: Jeff Carr’s posting

11:12 pm ~ Some big swells, but Annaleise is still going great as she has now travelled 15KM.

12:28 am ~ She’s now swam over 17 KM.  She was just “Ploughing” through the 4 & 5 foot waves, but now the winds are starting to let up.  Water is warm.   Rob & Tyler have switched in the kayaks twice and now Rob is back paddling.  The “Up”Chuckwagin has a couple of seasick casualties, but there has been no throwing up yet 🙂

Source 2: Bryan Finlay’s commentary on FB in the LOST group

The weather is not good for Annaleise. They are now 8.5 hours into the swim and are struggling to stay on course with the strong winds. They’ve travelled 21 km from NOTL and have 30 km to go to MBP. The winds have driven them over 1 km to the east of their desired course. With the current speed around 1.5 km/h in the past two hours, the estimated swim time is now over 31 hours

My own notes:

Having swum with Annaleise and have seen quite a few of her comments: She has what it takes to convince the lake to get across. There is a kayaker in the water now – When the pacers start rolling, she can change the swim. Annaleise, it is one stroke at a time – GOOD LUCK PAL!!!

cheers
