I’m a little delinquent on my postings… just getting caught up on a whole host of things… but I’m getting there!
Aug 25… a great swim, 69F and 28 swimmers! It’s funny, I guess the LOST Race ends up being the peak of the season… don’t forget if you swam in the LOST Race, that also covers your LOST Swims for the rest of the season… and there is still a few really nice swims left! Like the past two weeks have been. It’s been a really great summer for open water swimming… with the possible exception of the LOST Race, 10K and my Crossing!
Aug 18… Thanks to Jason and Lynn and the gang for filling in for me on Aug 18. Sounds like it was a bit smaller, more managable crowd, 28 swimmers… and the Lake rolled over! Dropped from the mid-70’s to 62F! Still very swimable… but a bit of a shock to the system nonetheless! At least it was nice and flat and calm… where was that the week before at the LOST Race!
